hola, mi amigos

i don't even know if that's correct spanish, probably not. i guess it doesn't matter much, since we aren't going to spain anymore. there's a train strike going on right now, how french. we thought it would be over soon, but looks like it's going to last long enough to stop us from going to barcelona. i really really wanted to go to barcelona. it looks amazing, but i guess i'll have to make a separate trip there. on the positive side, i think we'll get to spend more time in paris because the trains may still be running there. anyway, things that have happened while in nice:

• we saw a guy get caught cheating on his girlfriend at the beach
• we sunbathed topless
• some dude was taking pictures of topless beach-goers, creepy! so keep your eyes peeled for possible pictures of my tits!
• we got super trashed in our hostel last night while our roommates that we've nicknamed choad and puke-y talked about going out but never did.
• our room has a skylight that opens up onto the rooftop. the view is amazing.

nice is super trashy, but i kind of like it. it's growing on me. i think being a vegetarian has helped me see a lot of really awesome places that i never would have gone to otherwise.

anyway, life is good and i'll have a lot of interesting stories to tell when i get home.
