so today in addition to going door to door to restaurants to get the same old, "well, no, we're not hiring, but we're always accepting applications" i did a lot of applying online
- i have two interviews! for two jobs that i think i could hold at the same time and that i'm excited about!
- the first is with the princeton review. i'd be tutoring kids grades 1-8 after school. i have to do an interactive presentation. i'm thinking about teaching them to knit, like actually bringing in yarn and needles and pictures, is that too much? any other ideas?
- the second is with the best and most well-known vegetarian restaurant in chicago. that could be cool as shit. i'd start out as a host/busser, but it sounds like the transition to server could be quick once they realize how awesome i am.
- hooray!
- i got out of the house today and went to a stitch n bitch. it was nice. there was stitching and bitching. slowly but surely...
- happy, happy, happy, now i just need a date... but there's still time for that one. besides i probably need to get my shit out of boxes before i bring a boy around.

um those jobs both sound amazing. and i think a knitting presentation would seal the deal. good luck!
hey!
when phillip auditioned for kaplan they wouldn't let him do anything physical (like tying a tie). as long as they don't mind your presentation being on something you physically do with your hands, then i think knitting is a good idea!
yay for jobs! i bet working at that restaurant would land you some dates :)
