Monfuckintana

well, right now i'm coming to terms with the fact that i need a job real soon. i'm getting way too broke to keep rocking the unemployment. so unless some sort of miracle happens, i guess there go my big plans of giving away the restaurant life. i'm depressed about this. but it'll be okay. right now i'm eating a delicious smoothie, so life is good.

anyway, i spent this past weekend in the mountains in montana hanging out with some old family and some new family. my cousin corrie's wedding was gorgeous. it was on a montain just outside of missoula proper. this is the view from the top of the chair lift. i thought the chair lift was going to be crazy scary because i'm petrified of heights, but after the intial 10 minutes it was mostly fine. it didn't hurt that i got to take a beer up with me.

my sister and i where staying up at the lodge where the ceremony was held. since it was a 30 minute drive down the mountain into town we mostly chilled with my family and help prepare for the wedding. corrie and greg are big hippies so practically everything was done by family and friends.

corrie's sister lindsey designed a floral mandala to display on the altar. it took the two of us probably somewhere around 6 hours to complete. aside from looking a little Michaels, i think it turned out really well. it was fun playing with flowers and feel like i was lending a hand in something special for corrie.

in other news, my brother's engaged! i'm so excited about it. we're going to have a sister-in-law! cara is absolutely amazing and the two of them are so good for each other. plus, i get to be in a wedding! weee!
