hello again, blogger. it's been a while, hasn't it?

in light of the daunting but rather mundane task of recording the recent details of my life i will follow my own advice to erin and use bullets:

• went to georgia
• visited athens
• go dawgs!
• happy birthday victoria
• i'm starting to eat fish now sort of
• it was nice to see familiar faces again
• shaved my head
• realized winter's going to be very cold
  
• visited atlanta
• started knitting a hat
• bonded with my mama over knitting
• she gave me all of her knitting supplies (a lot), now i can't allow myself to quit again
• saw atlanta kids, everyone seems to be in a pretty good place right now which is reassuring, but everyone's really poor
  
• felt like an adult
• watched the running man, it's even more amazing than i remember it being, finished my hat
• met becky's new(-ish) girlfriend, who is awesome and i highly approve of
  
• becky and i have made tentative plans to start a zine, i have some ideas, but i don't know that i have the talent to pull them off
  
• drank with my brother, wonderful
  
• all and all, it was what i needed, seeing everyone, seeing athens again now that i'm not a part of it anymore. i guess i got some closure i didn't realize i needed.
  
• i've moved to chicago
• my sister is a wonderful human being
• i've moved in with her
• i'm like a third cat
• we've been watching a lot of the office
  
• listening to teagan and sara which is making me broody
• i need a job
• i wish i had a relevant degree
• tomorrow, i will finish my resume

so, i guess that's my life right now. it's been an interesting month of unemployment, but i'm ready for some stability. i'm really excited about the city. so far, it's a really awesome place. if i don't go all chicken-shit and become a hermit, i think i'll do well. i'll let you know how it goes...
